    Minnie the Moocher

this is another betty boop cartoon from 1932 called “Minnie the Moocher”. this demonstrates the rotoscoping technique again when it shows the cab calloway character dancing, it is also another very experimental cartoon from the time.

The Old Man of the Mountain

this is a 1933 cartoon from Max Fleicher studios called “The Old Man of the Mountain”, i really like this cartoon because it is another experimental cartoon from the time that demonstrated rotoscoping, where you film a live action subject and trace over the footage frame by frame. i also really like the expressiveness of the old man in this cartoon.

  • Swing you sinners

    Swing you sinners

This is a 1930 cartoon by Max Fleicher Studios that starred the character Bimbo the Puppy, he steals a chicken and then is sent to hell essentially, I like this cartoon a lot because it is very experimental and trippy compared to other cartoons during the time.
